Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel pours a deep, hazy brown with mahogany highlights and a dense off‑white head. On the nose you get rich malt notes of caramel, toffee and dark bread, layered with classic wheat beer aromas of ripe banana and clove. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, combining roasted malt, soft chocolate and biscuit tones with subtle fruit and spice, and only gentle hop bitterness. It finishes softly dry and slightly tangy, with lingering bready, caramel and banana notes that make it very drinkable for a dark wheat beer.
