Tasting notes from the producer

The Armagh Shiraz, authentically concentrated and powerful, explodes with intense aroma and flavor. Generous and plush, it conceals oak behind layers of ripe fruit and fine, structured tannins. Harvested by hand in multiple passes for optimal ripeness, vinification occurs in open-top fermenters. Regular rack-and-return and pump-overs enhance color and flavor extraction. After fermentation, the wine matures for 13 to 19 months in a blend of new and old French and American oak hogsheads.
