Deep crimson in colour, this wine opens with classic aromas of blackberry, praline, ginger, and sage, complemented by mocha oak notes. The palate offers luxurious flavours of blackberry pastille, blackcurrant, and black cherry, with superbly fine chocolatey and velvet tannins. Beautifully balanced mocha, vanilla, and smoky oak notes round out the profile. The finish is velvety yet gravelly firm, with hints of raspberry, graphite, and bush garrigue.

This Clare Valley Shiraz is hugely impressive, with a long-lasting presence, excellent fruit definition, density, and vigour. Aged for 15 months in French oak, it’s a wine with a conservative 30-year ageing potential.
